Family Law Solicitors That Put You First

SJP Law are a successful and respected Sunshine Coast law firm. We put your interests first and provide dependable legal services delivered in a language you can understand.

We are solicitors based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, and we cut through the legalese and the jargon to provide you with legal advice in plain, everyday language.

In addition to making sure you’re not confused by any step in the legal process, we also want you to feel fully supported and that takes a personal approach. You’ll feel comfortable talking to anyone in our team.

You’ll soon see that seeking legal representation at SJP Law is not at all daunting—right from your initial consultation, which has a fixed fee of only $100 for 30 minutes.

This first encounter will involve meeting with one of our lawyers to discuss your legal issue in general terms. From here, you’ll learn which options will be best in your circumstances.

Even, aside from this initial consultation, you are welcome to call and chat with one of our experienced staff members. We may not be able to give you legal advice over the phone, but it’s an ideal introduction. You’ll get to know us a little before you book your appointment.

What We Do

We provide legal support on family matters, including separation, property settlements, and parenting arrangements. We focus on ensuring clear communication and offering options that suit your specific circumstances.

Our mediation services can offer a non-confrontational way to resolve disputes. We act as impartial mediators, guiding the process and helping parties work toward a mutual agreement without court involvement.

We can guide you through the legal complexities of divorce, including property settlements, child support, and parenting arrangements. We aim to assist with navigating the process while helping to protect your interests.

We can assist with property transactions, from pre-contract signing to settlement. Our conveyancing aims to help facilitate the transfer of ownership and can provide clarity and legal protection during the process.

We can help with preparing wills, powers of attorney, and managing estate planning. Our team works to align your estate plans with your wishes, aiming to reduce stress for your loved ones.
