Mark Shera

Mark is our director at SJP Law and completed his Bachelor of Laws in 1985. Since that time he has practised predominantly in Queensland.

Joining SJP Law in 1990 as an associate in the family law and litigation area, Mark became a partner of the firm in 1992, principal soon after and now director.

Mark has been a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Family Law since 1996 and was the first on the Sunshine Coast to obtain his accreditation.

With an interest in information management and technology, he is always keen to utilise new technologies.

Litigation Soliciter Christine Jones

Christine Jones

Completing her Bachelor of Laws in 1984, Christine was admitted as a solicitor in 1984. She was later admitted as a Barrister in 1986.

After practising as a Barrister in Maroochydore, Christine joined SJP Law in 1994 as a consultant solicitor in general litigation and family law.

In addition to practising as a solicitor and barrister, Christine is a Nationally Accredited Mediator. Since 1991 Christine has facilitated a diverse range of mediations.

Her broad mediation and facilitation experience includes multiparty facilitations such as crosscultural, public consultation and community issues, organisational disputes and court-referred and family law mediations.

Nikki Williamson—Practice Manager

Nikki has worked with Mark and Christine at SJP Law since 2001. She has worked in the legal industry since 1989 having spent most of her time working in family law. As practice manager and senior paralegal at SJP Law, Nikki provides valuable training and support to the staff, as well as support to clients.

Stacey Hopkins—Senior Paralegal Family Law

Stacey has worked with the SJP team since 2005 providing family law and litigation support to Mark. Stacey’s amazing ability to connect with people and her extensive experience makes her invaluable to SJP Law and a favourite with many of our clients.

Renee Waters—Senior Paralegal Family Law

Having recently returned to SJP Law after a break to raise her family, Renee is back on board to provide support in the Family Law Department. Having over 15 years experience, her knowledge and client relations are second to none.

Stacey Hallam—Legal Secretary

Stacey’s role at SJP Law encompasses support in family law, and wills and estates. Having a wealth of experience, Stacey provides clients with excellent service and support. Thanks to Stacey’s excellent customer service, she has developed long-term professional relationships many of with our clients.

Renae Jeckeln—Senior Paralegal Conveyancing

Renae has been with SJP Law since 1996. Her knack for developing strong professional relationships is the reason we have of many long-term, repeat clients. Our conveyancing department continues to benefit from her experience and expertise.

Angela Percy—Administration/Personal Assistant

Angela works closely with Nikki, our practice manager to ensure that SJP Law continues to provide the high standard of service that our clients have become accustomed to. She also provides administrative support to the SJP Law team.

Anne Butler—Conveyancing Clerk

Anne’s vast knowledge in the conveyancing field and her commitment to providing excellent service to her clients makes her extremely valuable to the team.

Lara McDonald—Receptionist/Administration Assistant

Lara is the newest member of our team. As our receptionist, Lara has an excellent relationship with all of our clients. Lara can direct our clients to the appropriate team member to best answer their queries. Lara provides administrative support to the SJP Law team and works closely with Renae in conveyancing.
